Elder and his crew did a fantastic job replacing our carpets with hardwood flooring. Friendly, punctual and professional they all took utmost care of our home and ensured we were completely satisfied with the project. Elder himself went above and beyond on a few things for our project and presented us ideas we wouldn't have normally thought of. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the work that was completed on time and as promised.

2200 ft house with multiple stages of floor replace looked so uneven until Elder came to the rescue!
Added missing sections of wood, sanded, colored, new quarter round and protective coat applied. My place looks amazing! Photos of floor are with different light... not different colors :)

The best flooring refinish ever! Elder came to fix what the the first company absolutely screwed up. He understood our frustration and urgency. He did an amazing job and finished everything with quality products. Stain dried and cured within 12 hrs and then he did the poly which dried in 2 hours and then he advised to let it all cure. Compared to 8 days the other company took and left our floors uneven. Elder got done in 3 days and our floors look better than original!

Elder did a fantastic job removing our old, carpeted stairs and installing a new hardwood staircase. The new floor looks and feels fantastic and is a premium upgrade to the look of our stairs and landing. Elder and team were professional, able to start quickly, and gave us exactly what we were looking for. They were also able to diagnose and fix a loose stair that had been there for a while. We will definitely reach out to them in the future for any flooring needs!

Great installation! The installers were very professional, friendly and demonstrated outstanding craftsmanship. We needed to install a hardwood floor in our guest room first floor level. It was a challenge to match the rest of the Dr house hardwood due to age and wear. (15 yrs). They worked a miracle in matching the floors! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their floors install,refinished or matched. It's very clear that "customer satisfaction"use is their #1 priority!

We had the please of working with Elder and his team on a flooring install for our home in north Raleigh. I can't tell you what a pleasure it was to work with them. From start to finish the installation went as well as we could have hoped. Elder was on time and responsive in scheduling the work and helping us find a matching flooring to our existing flooring. They were extra careful to protect our home when working in it and the final product turned out great. I can't even give Elder and his crew enough stars. Elder was onsite everyday discussing with his crew the plan for the day. The crew was courteous, meticulous, detail oriented and clean, they picked up all of their trash daily and did everything possible to minimize dust. These were the original floors put in the mid 90's. The primary bedroom was originally carpeted then hardwoods were added with a Brazilian Redwood, next the formal living room had red oak put down. Elder matched the woods perfectly and now they are perfect. He somehow made water stains disappear, his work is just above reproach. I found Elder to be transparent, honest and fair in his pricing. My mother's brand new oak hardwood floors were damaged by water and humidity. They were cupped and had large gaps between the board throughout the entire house. The company that installed them didn't really seem to know how to handle them (newer company = less experience). I contacted Elder and he came out immediately to look at the floors and said "No problem". They started the very next day and his team (extremely polite and professional) worked very hard to sand out the cupping and fill ALL of the gaps in the floor (about 1400 sqft of damaged floors). The floors look amazing and brand new. You cannot see any gaps. Looks brand new!! The team he sent worked very hard and were always respectful of the rest of the property. They listened to my mothers concerns and addressed each one. They also fixed what the previous company did wrong. They provide a DUSTLESS service and there was NO dust in the house when they left. It was amazing! We have already recommended them to a friend who needs their floors redone. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELDER FLOORING for any hardwood floor needs! Thank You!

We are in love with our new refinished floors! Elder Flooring restored our old, damaged wood floors which was no easy task. Elder is fare and has a respectable, hard working crew. They were flexible and worked with our schedule. They even finished early! Minimal dust with their dust collection sander.
